Comfort:

The Sealy Conform Essentials Optimistic Plush is where the line starts to get fairly soft. Though primarily intended for side or back sleepers, certain stomach sleepers might still like this feel. Some side sleepers might find that this doesn't have quite enough give and might like something a little softer and more conforming, such as the Thrilled Plush or a Tempur-Pedic with Adaptive Foam.

The Optimistic still uses the "UltraStretch" cover which puts very little barrier between your body and the conforming properties of the 3.5" ComfortSense Gel Memory Foam just beneath the surface.

Support:

The Optmistic Plush uses a 7.5" SealySupport Gel Base foam to, well, to stop you sinking. That's the purpose of the base foam, to stop you from sinking. The material on top is great for conformity, but the base foam is designed to be a firm, yet giving, layer that gives you the support you need for years to come.
