From Humble Beginnings

Therapedic was founded in 1957 by Gerald Gershaw. He saw that the mattresses being offered to the public could be greatly improved and believed that he, as a smaller independent manufacturer, could produce a superior product. He was correct! His small company grew rapidly and he soon had a national network of licensees producing quality, hand-made Therapedic mattresses. Today, Therapedic has more than 50 factories producing mattresses in over 30 countries. Through all its success, Therapedic has maintained its unwavering commitment to producing quality and innovative hand-made mattresses of unsurpassed value.
