The Brenham II Plush Pillowtop is a very soft, deeply cushioned option in the Posturepedic Elite lineup—the one we show to people who want to feel themselves sink well into the top of the bed. A tall pillowtop stack of softer memory and gel foams sits over the same supportive, zoned coil unit, so you get a very enveloping surface feel while the springs underneath still keep your spine from completely sagging out. We really only recommend this model if you know you like a very soft mattress, especially for side sleepers and those chasing maximum pressure relief at the shoulders and hips rather than a firm, “held up” sensation.
