The Suttons Bay Plush (often called a “Comfort Plush”) is the softer sibling to Suttons Bay Cushion Firm. It’s built for sleepers who like to sink in a bit more at the surface while still getting the long-term durability and support that come from Capitol’s heavier-density foams and encapsulated coil system. Think of it as a “grown-up plush”: cushioned and more conforming on top, without the bottomless, mushy feel you get from many mass-market plush beds.  The Suttons Bay Comfort Plush is one of our most popular beds for a reason.

Feel & best For

• Overall feel: medium-plush — softer and more conforming on top, with a supportive coil core underneath.

• Best for: side and combo sleepers who need extra relief at shoulders and hips, but still want the bed to push back and keep them aligned.

• Also works for: lighter back sleepers who dislike firm beds but still want good support.

Key construction & materials

• Quilted, breathable cover over a non-fiberglass fire barrier, similar in concept to the Cushion Firm (Milliken silica-based FR).

• Plush comfort built from Capitol’s higher-density upholstery foams (1.8 lb and above) to resist body impressions and breakdown better than the 1.0–1.5 lb foams used in many big-brand plush beds.

• Wrapped / encapsulated coil support unit for contouring support, reduced motion transfer, and a more “even” feel across the surface.

• High-density base foam platform to stabilize the coil unit and extend mattress life.
