Therapedic TheraLuxe HD Cascade Plush

Therapedic TheraLuxe HD Cascade Plush

Feel: Medium plush HD

Best for: Larger sleepers, side sleepers, couples, and people who want HD durability without a hard feel.

Why we show this mattress:
We show the Cascade because it proves an important point: heavy-duty does not have to mean firm or hard. A lot of shoppers need stronger construction, but they still want pressure relief and comfort. This mattress gives them a more forgiving surface while keeping the HD support underneath, which makes it one of the most useful and popular beds on our floor.

Therapedic TheraLuxe HD Cascade Plush

Heavy-duty support with a more comfortable, medium-plush surface

The Therapedic TheraLuxe HD Cascade Plush is one of the most important beds in the HD lineup because it proves that heavy-duty does not have to mean hard. It uses the same basic heavy-duty support idea as the Jackson Firm, but adds more cushioning and pressure relief on top.

This is a strong option for customers who want durability and stronger support, but do not want to sleep on a firm mattress.

Comfort and feel

The Cascade has a medium-plush feel. It is softer and more pressure-relieving than the Jackson, but still much more substantial than a typical plush mattress.

It is especially useful for side sleepers, combination sleepers, couples, and larger sleepers who need stronger construction but still want comfort at the shoulders and hips.

Best for

  • Side sleepers
  • Combination sleepers
  • Larger or heavier sleepers who prefer a softer feel
  • Couples who want motion control and edge stability
  • Customers who want HD durability but not a hard mattress
  • Shoppers who have had plush beds break down too quickly

Heavy-duty construction

The Cascade is built on the same TheraLuxe QLX® HD wrapped coil unit used throughout the HD lineup. In queen size, the coil unit uses 1,872 17-gauge Quantum encased coils for deep, stable support and reduced motion transfer.

Above the coils, the Cascade uses high-density comfort foams, including 2.1 lb and 3.0 lb foam layers. The denser foam package is a key part of the HD story because plush mattresses often fail when lower-density foams compress and lose comfort too quickly.

Stability and edge support

The Cascade uses TheraTuft™ hand tufting and TheraEdge™ foam encasement to help stabilize the mattress over time. The edge system uses 3 inches of 50-lb density compression foam around the spring unit to create a stronger seating edge and more usable sleep surface.

Our final take

The Cascade is a very practical HD choice because it gives people durability and comfort at the same time. If a customer says, “I need something that holds up, but I do not want a “hard” mattress,” this is one of the first beds we show.

A Mattress Collection Built. To. Last.

Every day we listen to customers tell us the same story: appliances that fail after a few years, furniture that sags too soon, and mattresses that simply can’t keep up. A bed shouldn’t be one of the “disposable” items in your home. At Mattress Mart, we believe your mattress should be a durable investment in your sleep, not a short-term purchase you’re forced to replace before its time.

That’s why we proudly feature the TheraLuxe HD line by Therapedic—a collection built from the ground up for long-lasting support, exceptional durability, and real-world performance at an outstanding value. These mattresses use higher-density foams and a stronger, heavy-duty spring system than most beds on the market, so they hold their shape night after night, even for the largest sleepers and the most demanding households. They’re backed by one of the industry’s strongest warranty programs, reflecting the confidence Therapedic has in the materials and construction.

To complete the system, you can pair your TheraLuxe HD mattress with an adjustable base or with the Therability™ Heavy Duty wooden foundation, which features 20 cross-slats, 2×4 bracing, and a 105-lb build weight in queen for unmatched stability and support. This is a sleep setup designed not just to feel good in the showroom, but to stand up to years of everyday use.

If you’re tired of mattresses that break down long before you’re ready to replace them, it’s time to step up to something better. Come feel the TheraLuxe HD difference for yourself—we dare you to compare.
